Egad. Makes you appreciate those pictures of insanely perfect cabling…
So how does one go about fixing the problem? I have no idea 🙁
Well in the situation I found myself in (which admittedly wasn’t as horrifying as this picture), the solution was to wait until the weekend when no one was in the office and then proceed to unplug every cable and then plug them all back in again after properly arranging them through the cable guides. Took me around 4 hours or so.
The above would undoubtedly require at least a couple of weekends of work if you kept it to 8 hour shifts.
