From what I understand, he actually had some of The Daily Show’s writers helping him out on this one, which might explain why he was funny.
If Obama’s Presidency ends, he should go work for the Daily Show
I don’t know why everyone is giving Obama so much credit for his comedy when we all know he didn’t write a word of it…
There’s more to a joke than just the writing involved, Ben. The best joke in the world won’t work if your timing sucks. I’ll grant that with his being a politician he already knows how to handle a crowd, but it takes a decent sense of timing to get it across correctly.
At least give him credit for being able to perform well.
