From all of us here at SEB, a big thank you to our veterans past and present.

I also want to say a big “Thanks”
I was watching a show a week or so ago about Normandy. The picture above was taken at the Invasion. The boat is known as a landing craft or Higgins Boat. They mentioned that several of the boats ( when the front plate lowered at the beach ) the enemy would sit with automatic machine guns, aimed inside the boat and kill everyone.
That would have to be the worst feeling being at the back end of the boat, watching everyone get shot to death, knowing you are minutes perhaps seconds from dieing.
War is really a horrible thing.
As a veteran (USMC 2003-2007), thanks for everyone’s support.
Um, would that be John Wayne, the chickenhawk?
I was looking at a picture of Hitler, Goebbels, Goehring, Himmler, and Roehm all lined up on a viewing stand and I wondered how five of the least Arian looking men on Earth somehow wound up in charge of Germany.
What if they gave a war and nobody came? Not likely to happen in our lifetime. Unfortunately people in power are all too willing to manipulate the young mushy minds full of testosterone in some direction to further their own power. Sad how many are killed to placate the few megalomaniacs on our planet. I am very grateful for those who have sacrificed to preserve and defend man’s best chance to raise above the crowd: the Constitution of the United States of America.
Peace
