It would seem that Amazon.com and Internet Movie Database have joined forces. As a result you can now explore the works of Les Jenkins on Amazon.com. All one of them.
Still I’d be lying if I didn’t say it was an ego boost.

Wait a minute, so I read the blog of a cartoon voice?
Impressive!
(Or did I miss the sarcasm?)
No sarcasm. It’s true that I had a small voice part in an English anime dub. You can read about it in this entry.
That’s a cool line.

I don’t know why I was surprised at the sound (actually ‘shape’ is a better word but it makes no sense) of your voice.
I suppose the surprise could be similar to when we hear our own voice played back on tape for the first time.
Regardless, it’s only a small percentage of the population that’s mentioned in both Amazon and IMDb.
Congratulations.
Alas, that’s not my line. I’m not the assassin. I’m the victim. I play the middle aged molester with a gravelly voice who does all the talking. Which sounds that way because I had a cold when I did it. In fact it was the cold that caused them to keep it in the video.
Les the molester.. dude, thats horrible hahaha, but funny as hell.
Sheesh – you even had you pictured and I still didn’t notice him
but that’s more like how I imagined your voice.
I just noticed that the video clip has somehow gotten truncated, it’s missing my death grunt when the bullet explodes. I’ll have to see what I can do about tracking down the full video clip to put up on the site.
