The folks over at Mozilla.org have put out point releases for Firefox, Thunderbird, and Mozilla to address a couple of security issues recently discovered bringing the version numbers up to 0.9.3, 0.7.3 and 1.7.2 respectively. They’ve also launched a Bug Bounty Program where you can land a $500 cash price for reporting a critical security bug to the Mozilla folks. If you think you’ve found a nasty one you can go to this page to report it.
I gotta give the folks at Mozilla credit for trying something like this. It shows a serious dedication to making Mozilla the best browser it can possibly be.
I just upgraded from Firefox 9.0 to 9.3. It was a very fast/smooth process. There was no need to reload extensions, they were all preserved.
